Denon DCD-1700NE CD/SACD Player

Denon DCD-1700NE CD/SACD Player

The Denon DCD-1700NE (Model: DCD1700NEBKE2) is a premium, high-fidelity CD/SACD player finished in black. It is engineered for audiophiles who want to experience detailed, accurate, and uncompromised sound reproduction from physical media and high-resolution files. Key Audio Technologies • Advanced AL32 Processing Plus: Denon's proprietary digital processing technology utilizes data interpolation algorithms, up-sampling, and bit-extension. This restores audio data lost during digital recording, resulting in incredibly smooth waveforms and highly faithful sound reproduction. • Ultra-Precision DAC: Equipped with a 32-bit / 192 kHz Texas Instruments PCM1795 digital-to-analog converter for precise signal decoding. • DAC Master Clock Design: The clock sits directly adjacent to the DAC to seamlessly suppress jitter and optimize timing accuracy. • Pure Direct Mode: Bypasses unnecessary circuitry and turns off the front display panel to eliminate potential electronic interference, providing a cleaner listening experience. Mechanical Design & Anti-Vibration • S.V.H. (Suppress Vibration Hybrid) Drive: Features a high-precision, proprietary disc loader mechanism that dampens internal resonance and rejects external vibrations. • Direct Mechanical Ground Construction: The internal layout places power transformers close to the player's feet. Unwanted vibrations are funneled directly to the ground to keep delicate electronic components isolated. Disc & Format Compatibility The DCD-1700NE plays commercial discs as well as compiled high-resolution files burned onto data discs: • Discs supported: SACD (Super Audio CD), hybrid SACD, standard CD, CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW, and DVD+R/RW. • File formats supported via disc: DSD (2.8 MHz / 5.6 MHz), FLAC, WAV, ALAC, AIFF, MP3, WMA, and AAC.
